Summary

For the second half of my Producer internship at Criterion Games, I helped to develop and ship the single-player Campaign for the best-selling Battlefield 6. My work during this period involved the following areas of focus:

MISSIONS

Initially, I was embedded within the Mission Teams who were responsible for the final two missions of the Campaign. This involved understanding the requirements of key stakeholders and capturing their feedback during reviews, while also running and optimising the team’s playtesting processes. I prioritised bugs and issues based on this knowledge to ensure that we were always hitting a high bar for quality within the constraints of the project and team.

ACHIEVEMENTS


USER TESTING

I coordinated internal and external playtesting initiatives for the single-player experience, and became a primary point of contact for testing of the Campaign globally, across all four Battlefield Studios. Collaborated closely with UX and User Research partners to identify PX impacting issues and advocated for the expedition of fixes ahead of scheduled playtests.

CINEMATICS

Finally, following a strong performance within my internship role, I was fortunate to receive a contract extension of 6 weeks to learn more about the cinematic pipeline for game development and support the finalling process - ensuring that the Campaign’s cinematics could be delivered on time and to a high standard of quality ahead of Battlefield 6’s launch.

EVENT SUPPORT

Due to my expertise of the entire Campaign experience, I was entrusted with the curation of builds for critical milestone reviews with senior leadership, as well as capturing gameplay footage that could be shared widely to the whole organisation during town hall presentations. I developed extensive backup plans to mitigate as much risk as possible during event delivery.
